very expensive....

That translates to roughly $22,000 Canadian. (or about $17,500 US$) which is about 4K more than the bikes sold for originally in Canada.

For some reason, I don't think that they appreciate when left in storage for nearly 10 years. It is nice to get one still shiny all around, but storing it for that long isn't great on the mechanics etc.

I commute roughly 26 miles both ways to work every day. It rides smooth it's stable as a rock and I like the fact that I can grab the throttle and just roll it on whenever I want to I have no problem passing. I like using it in the drive mode in the manual mode sport mode is absolutely useless.

TRUE THAT! And you get BETTER mileage in 'D' mode.

When I was little, I was often told to go play in the traffic. Today, I like to 'play' in traffic. When I'm out and getting ready to pass a transport truck, Switching to manual mode, and dropping down a gear or two, makes the bike feel like a rocket... passing is a breeze. Releasing the 'mode' button, and you're back to cruising comfortably.
