color change ?

seeing as how the North American models were only available in Black or Red, I'm wondering if anyone has painted theirs a different color...

did they take the panels off, or was the bike painted with them on ?

The they was me, having owned an aircraft paint shop many, many years ago and yes, I took the bike apart and painted each panel seperately. I used the OEM paint from US Paint Company, however if I had it to do again I would have used Dupont Imron since having used it for 95% of the aircraft jobs in the past and the ease of using it verses the US Paint products. I did help a friend and former employee repair his Goldwing last year and we did repaint the damaged areas on his bike with Imron.
