Original keys lost. Have new barrel and new keys and key code. Going to work?

You can try to download wiring diagrams here from my very own personal site: US non Cali EU (in french) Both should be printable/readable. The EU one is high quality file, without questions I made in size of A3, hanging on my garage wall.

Original keys lost. Have new barrel and new keys and key code. Going to work?

There is some guy from AU selling DN used parts on ebay (user name " bike_spares_australia"). You already asked him, perhaps he has a suitable set of ECM and a key? One of his listings, you can send him personal message: https://www.ebay.com/itm/193986880176

Original keys lost. Have new barrel and new keys and key code. Going to work?

Option 5 - get the old barrel to a good locksmith. The DN's key is pretty ordinary, I've seen new keys made for Honda using the old barrel only. Blank key needed of course, locksmith may provide this too. Edit: sorry, didn't notice the HISS issue...

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

Honda OEM part number for the HFT control motor is 31300MEH003. This part is not any common part, but used only on DN-01. The two motors used for build the mixed motor are actually aftermarket parts for Honda ATV's. One motor is for Honda TRX500FA Rubicon/Foreman 2001-2012. You get the 12-teeth...

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

Honda do not say anything about it, but it looks like the motor generally will need some servicing time to time - blowing out the coal dust, renewing some grease on bottom bushing, checking the magnets and brushes condition etc. 20000 km may be a good service interval? The price difference...

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

Good to see your success! Maybe in our case the TCM motor current measurement system was a bit too sensitive. I mean the TCM survived a motor short cut failure before, this might have some influence for current measuring shunt resistor (or who knows how it is made in the TCM). If the current...

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

So it is... So it is... Motorcycling is not supposed to be a too cheap hobby. Similar ATV parts are much cheaper. In the end we used a brand new spare OEM motor I had on my garage self and the short northern summer went happily on again... Also take a look here...

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

I presume by "armature" you mean the rotor of electric motor? So yes, we used the new armature and the new part with permanent magnets. Mounting flange part with brushes, ball bearing and oil seal was taken from old motor.

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

We used OEM motor mounting plate, with ball bearing, oil seal and brushes. Those were all in good shape as the OEM motor had only 29000 km of life behind. The OEM motor obviously had short circuit in rotor as it kept blowing the 30A HFT motor fuse again and again. We got about same numbers with...

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

Yes, you have to use the whole part going to engine side from old (OEM) electric motor, with ball bearing, oil seal and brushes. Because the axle of the 11 teeth motor is thinner the oil seal inner hole is smaller, not fitting on 12-teeth axle. The oil seal from 11-teeth axle will brake turning...

As much as I remember, no. Resetting the code 26 was done at the roadside and driving continued.

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

Owner did riding the bike in a normal way while the dashboard started to blink error code 26. Bike did not accelerate well after code appeared, but was ridable. After the error code was erased everything worked well for some time, maybe some tens of km-s. We didn't dig so deep this time...

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

My friend ran into the problem of premature death (about 29000 km if I recall) of the HFT control electric motor, so we had a choice to test the idea of mixing two cheaper chinese made ATV transmission control motors. Few words about results we got: - mixing motors is mechanically possible, just...

    Unknown undescribed problem

In my case with the Healtec I got the same "-" steady blinking after deleting errors and no gear could be activated after that. Healtec did not warn about deleting calibration settings from TCM in any way. Engine started normally. Solution was to re-calibrate the transmission angle sensor, look...

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

Some time after Honda released the DN-01 there was a recall for the TCM. They exchanged the TCM for new one free of charge. I really do not know why the recall is made. You can ask from your local Honda (by VIN) is the TCM exchanged on your bike or is there still the faulty one used. Probably...

    HFT Swash Plate electric motor

On my friend's bike the transmission motor failed very early, at 25000 km. Angle sensor still working well. Probably you will get a blown 30A HFT Motor Fuse when the transmission motor goes bad. But yes, as the angle sensor is just a simple mechanical potentiometer, it well may wear out at...

The Healtec OBD will connect with DN-01 system also, as with many other Hondas with FI fuel system. I tried the Healtec OBD as I was thinking it is well developed tool as they advertise on their site. Final truth turned out to be somewhat different... While using the Healtec, it silently...
