Aussie DN-01 First Service

Hi guys,

its been a month or so since owning my DN-01 and I'm looking at doing my own servicing on the bike. Thanks to the service manual uploaded on this forum I'm able to have a read on what to do to make my DN-01 run great.

So I've decided to purchase this kit:

But as I'm aware, when you change the oil on the DN-01 you have to change the engine oil filter (cartridge type) as well as the HFT Filter element?

What is the best price/place on the internet to have this part ordered? I'm aware that it is a DN-01 specific part too.

The bike is a 2008 model with 1500kms and was last service according to the records in 2012. The oil seems fine but who knows if the oil has broken down over time. I'm aiming to do 12 month service intervals with the DN-01.

I use Wolf's Head 10w40 motor oil and a Wix 51358 oil filter . It is a spin-on filter . I change it every 4000 miles . The HFT filter , I have changed every 8000 miles . I do not know if the HFT filter is Honda only or not .

Would anyone also know the bulb size/type for the DN-01 headlights? The yellow halogen lights are turning me off

Heard they were H7, but just want to change them to HALOGEN Ultra Whites from Phillips.

Would you also know what type of bulb is the licence plate light? I'm wishing to change it to LED.

I already did it about year or two ago. It was easy to find led replacement, but I don't remember the socket size.
