Has anyone done the oil change at home?

Hello all,
Recently, I have a lot of time and was thinking that I may want to play around with the DN-01 oil change. But when I got under the bike I found that there were 2 drain bolts on each side ( left & right). I wondered if I have to take them both out or just the left one only, when draining the oil? I was told that the DN-01's transmission oil is the same as the engine oil. It uses the same oil in the same oil pan. Is this correct?
So, everytime I change the oil that would do the job for both engine and the trans? I know that I also have to change the trans's filter as well ( on the right side of the bike). I really want to ensure that I am doing the right way. Therefore, any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all.

Download the service manual and refer to page 4-11 - 4-13. And yes, the transmission oil is the same as the engine oil. After oil + 2 filters change you will need about 3.3 litres. I'm using Motul 7100 10W40 (now JASO MA2)
