How many dn01's were made.

Does anyyone know how many dn01's were made . I read somewhere only about 3000 worldwide. The last six numbers of my vin which is the serial number is 010001. Does that mean there were more than 10000 made.

I think the serial number has something to do with the year it was made also. Someone asked the same question, on this forum, a while back and EVEN Mother Honda would not/could not produce the EXACT number made. I would be interested in the number too! (I'm just thankful to have such a UNIQUE bike in my possession and I STILL put on the miles ... what's the point of having something and not using it!)
