Here I am meeting "Dino" at Ford of Berryville, Arkansas.
I live in Minnesota so that was a bit of a drive to pick it up to say the least.

But he's here and I just adore him!

thanx for the informative video.this could very well explain my embarrassing and very sad moment when turning very slowly into a parking spot and thought i was coasting it seemed to just die ,not having my foot down or even expecting this we went over.so you say that during slow turns or even if i,m not coming to acomplete stop[occasionally at astop sign] i should drag the rear brake and this will prevent the tranny from going temporarily into neutral,would applying the front brake gently have the same effect?also i did notice once or twice coasting down ahill rather than using my brake thinking the engine would slow me, if i didn,t give it gas,then when i did give it gas it was like someone bumped me from behind,little scary and it doesn,t happen everytime but you say whenever going slow speeds or coasting ,by gently applying brake this wouldn,t happen,hmm don,t know that everybody is aware of this,i feel a litle better about my mishap ,like maybe it wasn,t all rider error?

It is hard to tell with these bikes Norrie.
Mine is a she and I am going to ride her all winter.:rolleyes:

By applying the front brake, it will have the same effect, so will applying both brakes. Applying the front brake at low speeds, is a little dodgy, especially if your front wheel is slightly turned.

when doing slow turns, I will drag my rear brake, and keep some throttle on..helps. takes a while to get use to the length of the bike and not have a friction zone..love it now ;)

I guess we just have to be aware when the bike disengages ( below 8 mpm ? ) from the auto transmission .
