Hi everyone,

I’m reluctantly putting this post together as I’ve come to the decision that we need to let this bike go. I bought this Honda DN-01 last year for my wife so she could still come out riding with me, as she’s been suffering with a sports injury for the past few years. Unfortunately, after a recent operation that wasn’t successful, she’s no longer able to ride for sustained periods.

A bit of background on the bike — it originally belonged to my uncle, who dropped it in his garage which caused some minor damage to the bodywork. He made an insurance claim and it was categorised as a CAT N, after which he bought it back from the insurance company on my behalf.

I then had the bike professionally repaired, and it now looks like new. The only thing to note is a small nick on the left upper fairing, which is neatly covered with a Honda sticker.

The bike has only 1,801 miles on it and is fitted with Givi touring pannier racks, although I only have the top box fitted at the moment.

I’m more of a super sport bike bloke, but having ridden the DN-01 a couple of times, I can absolutely see why they have such a following. If I lived in the Mediterranean, this would be my daily go-to bike.

I know what these are worth and naturally, because of the Category N status, it does devalue it slightly — but I’m open to sensible offers. I’m also happy to deliver anywhere within 3 hours of East Kent free of charge.

I’m just posting it here first to gauge the appetite from those who appreciate these bikes before I advertise it on Autotrader.

If anyone’s interested, I’ll happily supply many photos.

It’s been a fantastic and very unique bike, and this isn’t an easy decision, but I’d much rather see it being used and enjoyed.

Feel free to message me if you’d like any more details.

Thanks for reading.
