What is S-mode stands for? Sport or Slow?

According to manual, it said for up a steep hiill or riding with passanger. The shift points are opimized for quicker acceleration.

So, if I rided with S-mode all the time, would I damage the transmission? Please advise.

s mode is for sports,it makes it hang on to each gear a bit longer.
you can ride in sports mode up to 80km then you want to change to d mode or manual mode.if you leave it in s mode and ride over 80km or higher it will be revving high and use alot more fuel.

S = Sport Mode.

Adds about 500 RPM. While in the hills/twisties my wife runs in the "Sport Mode" but mainly in "Drive Mode" for all other riding.

I really like the power and acceleration with S-mode. :D

Because I can feel the gear shift in Manual, but not in S-mode.

When I am in sport mode , I can definitely feel the bike shift down a gear when I roll on the throttle . I use the sport mode mostly in town . The only damage in staying in sport mode is the MPG .
